Peter Dube has 18 years of managerial experience in Health, Social Development, Resilience strengthening, and Disaster risk management focusing on planning, organizing, budgeting, implementing, leading, resource mobilization, monitoring, supervising, mentoring, and ensuring donor compliance whilst instituting organizational capacity development, community systems strengthening and sustainability. He possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Administration, Planning and Policy Studies, a Diploma and a Certificate in Education, a Certificate in Training, a Certificate in Psychosocial Support Training, a Certificate in Modern Management in Monitoring and Evaluation, and a Certificate in Transformational Program Management and Skills and Leadership Development for CSOs. He has worked with Schools Psychological Services, Concern Worldwide, National AIDS Council, Zimbabwe Parents of Handicapped Children Association, MASO, CARITAS Zimbabwe, and Oxfam GB and delivered outstanding results. His passion for working with JHWO is developing teams that facilitate cooperative and collaborative attitudes and practices in communities for sustainable solutions.
A Certified Chartered Accountant with over 20 years of experience in Organizational Risk Assessment Strategic Management, Implementation, Finance, Audit, and Accounting. Has managed USAID-funded projects to completion using USAID procedures and guidelines, USAID HRH analysis, and Expenditure Reporting analysis. Managed Global & EU-funded projects for more than 5 years. His passion in working with JHWO is to support the development and sustaining of systems that improve community resilience.
Kudzaishe Mutungamiri is an experienced and versatile M&E expert who has set up effective and efficient M&E systems for international and local organizations programming on Malaria, TB, HIV, and other community and health system strengthening initiatives. He has over 9 years’ experience in monitoring and evaluation of health programs including leading an M&E portfolio for a USAID/PEPFAR Orphans and Vulnerable Children award. He has developed and implemented capacity-building strategies for district managers to promote data use and to build skills in data analysis and interpretation He is more experienced in building the capacity of sub-partners. Mr. Mutungamiri is experienced in designing and managing data, reporting, research (quantitative and qualitative), and participatory methodologies, with over 5 years of experience managing US Government cooperative agreements, including project work plans, budgets, and performance management plans. He is a holder of a Master of Social Science Degree in Monitoring and Evaluation, a Bachelor of Social Science Degree (Special Honours) in Monitoring and Evaluation, a Bachelor of Social Science Degree in Social Anthropology, Post Grad Diploma in Project Management, and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Health. He has previously worked for Childline Zimbabwe, Adventist Development Relief Agency, GOAL Zimbabwe, Zimbabwe AIDS Prevention Project, and Catholic Relief Services His passion for working with JHWO is to strengthen monitoring and evaluation systems and package the work of the organization.
Garwe Simbarashe is a clinical social worker with up to 11 years of experience planning, monitoring, evaluating, and leading strategic change initiatives with a focus on Orphans and Vulnerable Children, Health systems strengthening, and training community cadres as first-line support as well as resource mobilization support. He is also a certified Child Investigation practitioner. He has an undergraduate degree In Social Work, a Master of Clinical Social Work, a Degree and Certificate in Monitoring and Evaluation, a Certificate in Humanitarian Assistance and Programme Management, a Certificate in HIV/AIDS Management, a Diploma in HIV/AIDS counselling and he has previously worked with Mavambo Orphan Trust, FHI360, ZimTTECH, and ZHI delivered outstanding and tangible results.
Chipo Chimunhu Maware is a public health expert with a background in health promotion and epidemiology. She has up to 20 years work experience in planning, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Health Education and Health Promotion (BSc HEHP) from the University of Zimbabwe, along with dual Master's degrees in Monitoring and Evaluation , and Biostatistics and Epidemiology. Chipo has previously worked in the Ministry of Health and Childcare, National AIDS Council, Caritas Gweru, Zimbabwe AIDS Network, Biomedical Research and Training Institute. Chipo has successfully managed various community health programs, overseeing their planning, implementation, and evaluation. This involved collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, coordinating resources, and ensuring program efficiency during the Zimbabwe Population based Health Impact Assessment survey, Community Rights and Gender assessment, Kunda Nqob’TB, and TB In the Mining Sector projects. She has designed and implemented health promotion campaigns, targeting various health issues, such as TB, HIV (as a former District AIDS Coordinator), multiple myeloma and cholera. These campaigns involved developing educational materials, conducting community outreach, and organizing health awareness events.
Chipo has developed comprehensive frameworks to assess program performance and impact. She has designed data collection tools, conducted data analysis, and produced evaluation reports to inform project improvements for the USAID-funded OVC projects at JHWO. Her background in biostatistics and epidemiology has enabled her to conduct research (CRG and CRG TIMS) and data analysis to support evidence-based decision-making. She applies statistical methods to assess health outcomes, identify risk factors, and evaluate interventions. Chipo has strong stakeholder engagement skills since she has collaborated with diverse stakeholders, including government ministries, civil society organizations, community leaders, and healthcare professionals. She has facilitated partnerships, conducted surveys, and engaged stakeholders in program planning and implementation. Chipo is passionate about making a positive impact on community health. She is dedicated to developing and implementing effective health programs that address the needs of diverse populations and contribute to improving overall health outcomes.
